Higher education conversations about AI often get stuck in binaries: adopt or resist, human or machine. In this webinar, we offer a more workable stance for teaching and learning: human with AI. We will introduce a workflow lens for instructional work and clarify the difference between bots and agentic AI. Starting with a concise illustrative example from online teaching, we will show how bots and agentic AI can support various instructional workflows while keeping human judgment, care, and accountability at the center. Participants will leave with some practical ideas to map their own workflows, identify appropriate human-in-the-loop points, and take a thoughtful next step in their own context.
